Brief: Design a poster for the New Music Symposium featuring Composer Paul Dresher and Percussionist Joel Davel.
Concept: The heart pounding percussion of Davel, and long surreal notes from Dresher's quadrachord, echo of a surreal place and feeling. Thus the poster reflects this through random overlay of circular percussion with unpredictable use of line and plane, black and white, and playful typography.
